TEA TIME My second assignment was to make a video story out of only 10 shots which included establishing, master, medium, closeup, top angle shots and etc. I kept the story simple because my idea was very spontaneous and random. I saw my mom making tea, and it quickly created a video in my head where I could show all these shots creatively. The video starts with a title of the story and then shows a master shot of a clock. Then there are a bunch of medium shots and top angle shots as well. I ended the video on a closeup shot. The star of my story was tea (obviously as the title suggests) but I had to keep in mind a few things : The video should consist of only 10 shots Must contain at least one of each shot e.g master, top angle, closeup etc. A title in the beginning and end credit title with my name Edited properly with appropriate music
I ran a survey with the same audience I used in the previous survey before film was shot. This was my target audience to be specific. Here is the feedback I got on my film once it was out on youtube : ...
The genre of our film is horror, so the audience must be expecting a very daunting, scary and creepy music. But the only music that came in my mind was the one from the movie ''Joker", it is the bathroom scene music. I knew it would sound good with the whole sequence, but couldn't be more sure until we added the music to our sequence. I was really excited when the music added more thriller to the 2 minute sequence. Surprisingly, we didn't have any other options of music and sound because i was pretty sure this was going to work out. I did, however, saw few scenes of any horror movies to see how the music has been added, but they're usually very quiet and silent movies with few squeaks and screams here and there or the door creaking and stuff like that.
